A SIMPLE PHRASE

A GLORIOUS SUNSET IS HEAVEN'S DOOR LEFT AJAR. This morning Winslow and I were out and about doing errands and I happened to see these words on a church bulletin board.... I had to share them with you.... Blessings from Dog Trot Farm.

  1. That is a lovely saying and I will remember it tonight if we have a pretty sunset. That is such a nice way to think of it. It reminds me of being little and playing outside and the dark is creeping in but I can keep playing because the door is open and the light of safety and warmth and home is shining out the door.
I hope all is good with you today. Our spring is gone for a bit, rain and wind are today and I think that we might have March here that comes roaring in like a lion. We are supposed to have rain until then. Blessings to you my dear friend in Maine, hugs to you and Winslow.

  5. Julie. How beautiful! Both the photo and the words. You know, when I drive to work and the sun is behind me and I feel it on my back, it makes me smile. Reminds me that God is right there with me. Thank you so much for sharing that.

  10. Good Morning Julie in snowy Maine! You don't want to hear that I walked the "tiny ten" in shorts yesterday so I won't be telling you that. I love that phrase, it makes me smile.
