  3. I hope that hearing the peepers in your area is a sure sign that spring has sprung. In our area, if we have a warm evening in the middle of the winter the peepers can be heard. I guess they're easily fooled! It has been slower to warm up here also though and people can hardly wait for warmer weather to come.

  8. A wonderful sign of Spring - I love the sleigh bells sound of the peepers. I'll have to listen for some around here - it's rarer these days, sadly.

PS - I'll bet the skunk cabbage is up in the woods, too.

  11. Love the pansies and like Earlene said, they can handle some snow. I don't think spring is coming to northern Ohio this year. I just hope we don't go straight to summer.
    Hugs :)

  13. Back in 1983 I believe we had a snowstorm in May. We usually don't do our planters until Memorial Day weekend. The pansies are so pretty at the garden shops though, I usually buy a flat and spread them around the inside of the house.

  17. I do love the peepers. We went away for the weekend and while we were gone the peepers arrived. I love going out to do a last check on my barn in the evening and hearing that cheery sound! Beautiful pansy pic!

I bought planted and blogged about ... as they as pretty tough little buggers lol Love having some color in the garden.
