WINTER HAS ARRIVED

As my feet touched the cool morning floor.... something caught my eye with the new dawning light....tis snow....
an early morning surprise....winter has arrived in Maine....it is December after all.... the perfect accent to a Saturday morning drive to attend the Shaker Village annual Christmas craft fair....Oh, yes and off to Lizzie's Rags where I won a door prize....I can not recall what the door prize is, but am sure it will be primitively perfect. Will share my winning prize with you later this evening....Blessings to all.

    We also got a light dusting of snow but it looks like you have a bit more. have fun today we are off to christmas house tours.

    Welcome to my world! How I wish I could go to the Shaker Village Christmas craft fair with you, it must be marvellous to see all the crafts. I suspect they will all be top quality at a Shaker Village. I'd rather like to spend a Christmas in New England one day.

    What a beautiful view of your house in the snow. The first snowfall is always such a treat, especially when it arrives in time for Christmas. We'll have a green Christmas here, as all the snow has melted and there's no prediction for more.....but stranger things have happened!

    My goodness Winter sure is upon your doorstep! It's cold down here but we've only had a snow squall. That snow didn't stick though.

    Your home looks wonderful in snow, Julie, though I have to admit I'm already looking forward to the day the Daffodils start poking their little heads up. Guess I'll be waiting a while, won't I.

    What lovely pictures of a perfect winter scene on your post this evening. So Pretty.

    We had about 6 inches of snow but we got rain instead of snow and all the snow is gone now.

    The snow pictures are just lovely. Because I've just seen the Harry Potter movie The Deathly Hallows, I had to look twice to make sure that wasn't a Patronus in the middle of your field.
