snow...Snow...SNOW
snow...Snow...SNOW...it's a snowy day here in Maine...winter weather arrived early this morning...schools and businesses closed... a good day to spend some time in the kitchen...homemade bread...warm chocolate chip cookies... comfort food...macaroni and cheese... a big old pot of hot chocolate...a comfy chair by the wood stove...a favorite book...

We got snow, too. More than enough to make up for having none. Hope you had a nice and snuggly day!

We did much the same here, I'm glad winter finally arrived. I like the slowness of it but I'm not sure how I'll feel about it come March!

Fun to see Winslow and know that Emma Lou is tucked in next to the chimney! We got us some snow too, an inch~a skiff of snow! And now it is cold. Brrrrr. 10 tonight. Enjoy your winter nesting and stay warm Julie!
ReplyDeleteI got a snow day!!! Yippee! Once I know that hubby is safe at work...then I groove into the day. I mostly spun and finished my cross stitch. Oh, and I took advantage of the time and cleaned the bathrooms...boy did they need it!!

What a cute little picture!! Homer would just love our little Hickory. Sadly, no snow here in PA....brutal cold, but no snow. I would like one lovely storm that lasts just a few days, but keeps us snowed in at home!!
