GOOD SATURDAY

Well, hello Gladys how are you this morning. Gladys seems to be the most adventurous of the girls, Gladys and I discussed having a little hen party this morning, her sisters got wind of this idea and were soon to follow.

Hello ladies, they all ventured out of their pen into the outer portion of the coop. A little field trip of sorts.

Miss Beatrix

The girls were given a new treat this morning, oatmeal. Just a small handful they appeared quite appreciative.

Chicks certainly grow quickly, they appear to be quite happy in their new home. Everyone gets along and as of yet no pecking order.

Gladys, I really need to get to work the flower beds are calling.

Winslow spent his day keeping the chipmunk population in check.

Good boy Winslow Homer.

Gosh! I've missed a couple of posts, how's that happened?!? Love photos of WH and haven't those chooky chicks grown up! I guess this is the equivalent of the teenage years. I love the one of Gladys siting on your? legs. (-:

Oh, it's clear you are enjoying your chickens so much - it seems like forever ago that my babies were so small. Funny, though, my Barred Rocks, Bippity and Boppity, *still* sit in my lap like that. lol
Winslow...he is one good looking boy. I would love to see him and Roxy (half Cairn) together!
