This is the blog of an Island girl who married a country boy. A girl who's always longed for a farm and a menagerie of animals. Watch and read as the dream begins to unfold.
The shadows in the yard appear earlier and earlier. Today, two hours and fifty-five minutes earlier. There is a crispness to the air. Final cut of the season.
No matter what time of the year the sun always shines on Winslow Homer!
Yes, I've noticed the shortening days, ugh. Dan rigged up the light for the chicken coop this weekend to give them the length of light needed for eggs.
Cute photo of Winslow Homer. Have you decided what to do with Pinky? Those kinds of decisions are tough. All my pets have been rescues, and they have widely varying degrees of behavior issues, some pretty obnoxious! But they are still hanging out at Henbogle, further proof that I have lost my mind.

Days are running short alright! I'm not a big fan of getting up in the dark and it's only September!
The sun always shines on Winslow Homer except when he's rolling in the mud. LOL!
Pretty pictures in this post for sure! Of course, Winslow Homer is just radiant in the sun!! :)
Hugs~ Birgit
