S-N-O-W

Winter has found it's way back to Dog Trot Farm. Ten inches of snow fell over night and is still coming down. Not a good morning to be out and about. Winslow Homer has returned to his bed and the "girls" are "hunkered" down in their coop. DH is off plowing and it's time for me to start the snow blower. Good news, we have 27 minutes of extra daylight! Hope the sun is shining in your neck of the woods.

It is starting to rain here - supposedly the storm of the decade is to fall as rain this week. Your snow looks inviting tho VERY cold!

It's nice here today in MD - about 52 degrees, although there is a cold wind sometimes. I'm loving it! We had alot of snow already, I'm hoping we don't have anymore!!!!!

Just a dusting here on the west side of Lake Champlain. The storm tracked south of us. I'm ok with that. :)

Egad, poor you!! We had a fierce wind and rain storm last night, but it's 52 degrees here right now.
I, too, have noticed that it's not getting dark until 5:25pm now...where a few weeks ago it was dark at 4:59!!

woo hoo....patiently (??) waiting for spring! :-)

Hi Julie! 10 inches of snow makes for a very pretty picture there at Dog Trot Farm. But brrr. Hope you have some sun today. We are in our fifth day of dense fog warnings till noon so we have seen no sun.

And more snow today!! Are you still enjoying it Julie?
I'm hunkered in myself today. I think a woodstove later this afternoon and a warm cup of cocoa will be the perfect afternoon treat I need. Want to join me?
Stay snug dear friend~ Birgit

I'm loving the extra daylight!

We are having sun. Snow is melting, faster in the mountains than down here. Snow melting in the mountains is not good, down here is good. Sigh.

We had tornados popping up all around east Texas this evening. But they're gone now, and we've been having 65 - 70 degree temps this week. The cold is not over here. We've had a dusting or snow in March before! But spring is right around the corner, thank goodness!

Your farm is beautiful - looks like a photo on a calendar...

I hope your headache continues to go away and you regain some normalcy. The barometer has been so weird all week, even I have a 3 day headache I can't beat.
Congrats on your blog award. Very deserving.

Starting to rain here.
Hope it does not turn to ice.

The herd wishes you well.
