SUNDAY RAMBLE

In the early morning hours you just never know who your visitor might be.... some get caught with their mouth full....

while others travel under the watchful eye of their mother....

The Dog Days of summer have arrived.... flowers are beginning to fade....

"The goldenrod is yellow
The corn is turning brown
The trees in apple orchards
With fruit bending down."

I picked a big bouquet of nasturtiums this morning - still lots coming. We are having a hot spell, but it's welcome.
Very sweet photos of the apple thief!

So how come the fox doesn't eat the turkeys and leave your hens alone???
You grow lovely zinnias! They look wonderful. Everything does, I am glad you went for a morning ramble.

Your flowers are (still) just lovely!!! The feel of the end of summer is certainly in the air--But I do wish that for Virginia it was just a tad bit cooler!

Julie,
Your window boxes are flowing,
Your deer are really fat.
Your turkey's babies are growing,
Wish MY zinnas looked like THAT!!!

Awesome photos. I miss our turkey that used to visit us. I think a neighbor ate her!

Miss Eve you are quite the poet. Fall is slowly creeping into the picture, I am ready. Thank you all for the comment on my flower's. The deer in my photo took the time to finish her morning snack, not timid at all.
