WHITE CHRISTMAS

Merry Christmas. We will be having a white Christmas here at Dog Trot Farm. December is a bittersweet month for me.... it is the month which holds my birthday and sadly the month which claimed both sets of grandparents.... and now my dear mother in-law. In the spirit of Christmas hold your loved ones a little bit tighter..... remind them how much they are loved. Merry Christmas from all of us here at Dog Trot Farm and Blessings for the New Year.

Oh Julie, sorry to hear about your mother-in-law. Christmas is a wonderful time but it is harder when you miss loved ones past. I miss my daddy so much this time of year. He was always so happy at Christmas and just made life better. Thinking of you all. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

So sorry for your loss. I always think December is bittersweet that way. I lost my Mom last December so it makes the month seem different somehow. I am glad you will have a white Christmas. I am so thankful for your friendship. I hope your Christmas will be special, dear Julie.
Merry Christmas

Its so true. We never know how many more holidays we have with our loved ones. Its easy to forget what is important amid all the hustle.
Merry Christmas to your family, Winslow Homer, Gladys and the girls.
Hugs, Kim and Millie

It is indeed a bittersweet time of year - I guess the best we can do is embrace the sweet and endure the bitter, counting on our memories of loved ones adding to the celebration. Perhaps you'll do as we do tonight, and lift a glass to 'those who are not with us'and then share some special 'remember whens'.

It's so difficult to lose any loved ones but often seems so much more difficult around the Holidays.
Wishing you a peace filled Christmas,

Have a wonderful Christmas and just remember all the happy times you had in the past with the people who are no longer with you. January is that sort of month for me, both my parents and my mother-in-law died in that month.
