A WINTERY DAY

It's definitely winter in Maine.... I had hoped I might have the opportunity today to do a bit of rug hooking....maybe get the binding on my crow mat....
or cut some wool for a new runner I have begun.... no.... no such luck.... the better portion of my day was spent with the Toro snow blower....a girls best friend when her DH is out of town on business....

It is winter in Maine after all....

That crow is beautiful!
Winter here is just plain wet these days - I have the mates for those chairs but they're growing moss!

It's great to see your hooking projects. The crow is just adorable. I like the soft simple colors.
We have freezing rain in the forecast tomorrow.

Love that crow! Much better than the real thing ; )

It's raining here and the trees (along with everything else) are icing up. Not a good thing. I sure hope we don't lose our power!

I got out of work early came home did a few things and hooked the rest of the night. Husband took the tractor out 1/2 way through the storm but said leave the rest until tomorrow. we did get a bit of freezing rain. so it is winter in NH also. It does look pretty.

We might need to borrow that snow blower. Every station has different numbers but it looks like 3 to 6 inches will be here Wed/Thur.

Love your rugs! The colors are wonderfully peaceful and serene! Your hooking is beautiful!
It takes a big chunk out of the day when you have to remove all that snow! You must be so happy to have that snow blower!
Hang in there Julie, the winter is at least 1/4 over I think..... isn't it?

Your crow mat is great. I love crows. I also think the colors you've chosen for the runner are beautiful. I am obsessed by color choices right now, trying to see how different shades work together. When it works well, it's magic.
I remember those snowy Maine days from my college days. We hope to move up that way someday.

Julie just color those adirondacks light green and that could be our yard! Oooo I love the runner :) Cool picture of the bluebird house casting a shadow on the sunlit snow! That is one cool snow blowin' machine!!!!!

A little over 4 inches here this morning, more on the way for the next four days. We are so ready to head to Florida!

Glad to see I'm not the only one who didn't get the painted Adirondack chairs in before the snow fell.
