Sift flour, baking powder and salt in a small bowl. Add flour mixture and milk alternately to butter mixture, add vanilla and gently stir in strawberries. Spoon batter into muffin tin. Combine sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over muffins.

ohhhhh YUMMY!!!
These look very good. I don't often bake with fresh strawberries as there are never enough left over after I've made jam and we've feasted on the fresh berries!
Yummy! The homemade vanilla sounds interesting! And your home made Iris-eggs must be the secret ingredient!
Thanks for stopping by my blog Julie! It's always a treat to have you visit!

Don't these look delicious! A nice way to serve strawberries.
Very tempting but I would have to use raspberries instead of strawberries. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Those look so yummy--I love strawberries!!
Just wanted to come by and say Hello Julie. CH would love these. I just learned to make The Mama's coconut cream pie so I think I will give your muffins a whirl!
These strawberry muffins look wonderful - I have some berries in the fridge right now. I'll have to snag your recipe and have these for breakfast!
Just wanted to tell you, too, that I appreciate your sweet comments about my friend's daughter that was killed. I've just been blessed by my friends out there in blogland with an outpouring of prayers and kind thoughts - it's been so uplifting - and I'll send your thoughts along to my friend. She'll be touched, too. Thank you!
Julie! Julie! We have an egg! Come to my blog and see, we're so proud of our girls! ~Vonnie
Hello Joan!
Oh my but these look SO good! Our strawberries are long gone and I'm struggling to keep them alive in the 105 temps we're getting lately. I hope you're enjoying some beautiful summer weather as only the north east can enjoy. Congrats on the rooster...we love our Romeo even though we have a few featherless backs at the moment. Oh well he takes good care of his girls. Have a wonderful Thursday!
Maura:)
