THE COLOR YELLOW

If I were to assign the day a color it would be yellow...the color of sunshine... and daffodils...and a yellow find from Goodwill...a small Pitcher...perhaps a piece to a child's tea set...I simply could not resist...
also from Goodwill...a box of sunshine...a box of yellow chicks...yellow the color of happiness...
Once again thank you for your kind comments in response to Sweet Emma Lou, also for taking the time to offer your opinion in regards to the shelter cat Lida. My heart is not ready to let a new kitty in, however, I would love to offer a home to a kitty who is in temporary need. Fostering seems to be the answer...Visiting an animal shelter can be overwhelming, how difficult it is to choose one cat, when so many are in need. My thought has been to foster cats who test positive for feline Leukemia or perhaps senior cats that are difficult to place due to age...whatever direction I take, Dog Trot Farm will open it's door to those in need...

LOVE yellow!

I think fostering is a great idea for some needy kitties who otherwise wouldn't have a chance!

Love the little yellow cup and the yellow Chicks.
That is a good idea to take in a foster cat but aren't you worried about getting attached. I fall in Love with an animal and that's it...I am doomed to keep it. You may even change your mind and take one home that no one else will want and give it a forever home. I am sure you will make the right decision :)
Have a great Sunday

Hi Julie.
Being a foster mom to critters be a wonderful thing to do.
I also thought of that, but I get so attached, I would end up keeping them all because I wouldn't want to give them up when a permanent home was found :)
What great finds you got from Goodhwill.
Have a great weekend, Julie.

Blessings,
Janet

Fostering sounds good. When we got Sophie, there was a sweet old gal at the shelter. She was frail and drooled a lot. I wanted to take her, but I knew she needed more care than I could give at the time.

I love all of your yellow finds!
Hugs,
Courtney

Foster has been a great experience in our home. There is a definite need especially for sick or senior cats. Think you will enjoy the experience.

Hi Julie, I love your bright yellow flowers, and the chicks. It brightens the place up.

I think that you are doing the right thing by fostering a cat instead of adopting for now at least.

Taking home a pet is a long time commitment as you already know.

Take care, hugs. Julia
