WHAT MAKES YOU SMILE?

Early this morning...a little furry friend stopped by for breakfast...
no reservation was made as he was dining alone...a table for one if you please... he settled himself in nicely... ate to his heart's content...and then proceeded to do what anyone does with a full belly... he took a little nap..."A friendly look, a kindly smile, one good act, and life's worthwhile"~Unknown~ It's the simple things in life that can put a smile on my face, how about yours?

What a great photo of the squirrel having a nap - I've never seen anything like that even though we have lots of grey squirrels in our garden. Made me smile:)

If that's not the sweetest series of photos, I don't know what is! You're doing some fun things with your new camera, Julie! Peace to you today, ~Vonnie

He's just a baby, isn't he? He's adorable. I normally don't like squirrels, they destroy our birdfeeders, they empty them, they make nests in our gutters. But darn it, they are so cute! Two years ago 2 baby squirrels were born in our gutter and they hung out on the lower porch roof. We could look out the upstairs windows and see them play all day, and nap on the roof and they were so small and cute.

A few years back, when we lived in another house, we had a huge squirrel problem. They moved into the attic! We setup live traps and relocated over 20 squirrels to new areas. It was the great squirrel relocation project of the summer...

That put a smile on my face and cute pictures of puppies also put a smile on my face. My Labs like to sneak in my bedroom and get up on my bed to take a nap and when I go in and ask them what they are doing on my bed their tails just thump on the mattress from wagging them. That does make me smile also :)
