Don Juan...
In my last post, I referred to chocolate as my one true weakness...my girls reminded me that this simply was not true and I needed to come clean...okay girls...but first let me say... That truth be told there is a bit of unrest in the coop...okay chaos...Ramon...with his randy attitude and good looks has thrown a wrench into daily coop dynamics...Lulu Belle... as a senior lady feels she has earned the right to a little peace and quiet...Loretta...a feisty little gal...can chest bump with the best of the good ole boys...Gwendolyn...would prefer that her feathers not get ruffled...Phoebe who is just plain nasty...could care less what happens in the coop...an attitude adjustment would do this gal a world of good...Don Juan is pleased that his son inheritated his good looks...however...let it be known that he is the "king pin" in this coop...You see my gal Gladys... who understands me so well...she knows the true reason I had a spring to my step this morning...she knows that this time of year... it happens...even when I assure her it will not....Gladys you know you're my best gal..well...it is true I've gone and ordered more chicks...CHICKS my one true weakness...and that's the truth....

Wooohooo! How fun...I'll be watching to see when your new 'fluff balls' arrive. This should stir up some excitement in the old coop ;)
ohhhhh...baby chicks! Can't wait!
I am so glad you came clean about the chick issue. I also have this weakness. I have 8 silkie hens coming in May.
I have been happily anticipating spending hours watching chicks.
So I do understand this affliction. :) You know great minds and all of that. :)
Yay! More chicks. What fun...
Magnificent fowl!

Yeah! I have been fighting the urge to get more chicks! But I allowed myself guinea keets! Can't wait for the pics when they arrive!
So happy! Please post of all your new arrivals! Love allthe personalities! I hope to get my bantam rooster this Spring/Summer. I've missed my little Jerry so much since he passed away.

Birds look great. And Congrats!!! Just read that you will be a grandmom. All the best to you and your family.

Aww, can't wait to see the little babies!
Love all the bright colors of your chicks and now we will get to see more real soon :)
Oh what fun!
I never would have thought chickens had so much personality! yay for new chicks! More excitement in the hen house for sure!
ME TOO!
My husband has given up on reasoning with me on how many chickens would be reasonable in our sweet little coop. We have a lot of predators and figure if I buy a couple a extras it will even out eventually.
