LIFE IS FULL~LIFE IS GOOD

Six days over due this grandbaby of mine...the anticipation is building...I ask myself is this real? Am I actually going to be a grandmother, a marmee. I look out my window and see the crab apple tree, the tree which was planted in honor of our son shortly after his birth. I see the blue baby swing Mr. Dog Trot gave me for Mother's Day and realize... yes... this is real... this is happening... soon...very soon... I will be a marmee...and tomorrow will be the day I become a foster mom, to a little kitty who is in need of some TLC...
Life is full, life is good...

I was thinking about you today and wondering if your big day had arrived yet.
I love the swing in the tree, that is such a pretty picture. I think Marmee is the best name.

A Marmee?! That is awesome!! I think I shall be a very very old woman before I become a Marmee/Grandmother. That is IF it happens ;) You are blessed, very blessed. I will be watching for updates! -Tammy

I guess babies just don't care about a due date and they will enter the world when they feel like it huh? That is very nice of you to give some tlc to a kitty that needs some. I have 4 dogs and 2 cats and am about to take on another kitty that needs some T L C. It is one of my daughters cat that craves more attention than she has time for. She stayed by me the whole 3 days I was at her apt and snuggled up to me every night in bed. Since I can't take her home on the train they will be bringing her down soon. I just hope my 2 kitties will be nice to her and welcome her :)

I know you've got to be getting so excited. I love the name Marmee too! One family of grands call me Bebe and the other call me Gigi. You might get a surprise and this little sweetie might have a whole other name in mind! Keep us posted, Dawn

The baby isn't late. The due date was just early! The baby will come when it is supposed to come and it will be well worth the wait. I can't wait to see pictures. Babies are such wonderful blessings. I can't get enough of mine.

Hi Julie, waiting for a new baby to be born can be nerve racking. But the Potter isn't finished with the little pot yet.

Hoping that today is the day.

Congratulations on fostering a kitty. your life will be full.

On the subject of a grandmother name, I wanted to be called Memere, a french derivative for grandmere, but my first granddaughter didn't want any part of it. she called me Mamoo and the name stuck even when I tried to have her call me Memere.

She set the precedent and the other grandkids all called me Mamoo.

Hugs, JB

We're all in limbo waiting patiently Do I see a little troll sitting in the tree?

The waiting is the hardest part. I have a swing just like that for Miss baby and she has decided that she does not want to ride or swing on anything. a very independent streak in Miss Baby

My first baby was ten days late but you shouldn't have long to wait for the new arrival now. Meantime you can spoil the kitten:)
