CAN YOU FEEL IT?

Can you feel it?
It's in the air...Halloween that is...this day found me on Witchtrot
Road...a back road in the town of York...a haunted road...so I am told...
An old burying ground...which dates back to the 1600's... quite suddenly
fog began to slowly engulf the graveyard... this poem came to mind...
"The fog comes on little cat feet. It sits looking over harbor and
city on silent haunches and then moves on"....~Carl Sandburg~
                              Til tomorrow, goodnight....

Oh yes - and it's a misty, foggy and slightly smoky night out there by our ponds.

Great pics and great quote! I was enjoying the Halloween season just fine.... until a "witch named Sandy" decided to pounce up the coast line...lol! Getting windy now, but the main part of it arrives here Monday early am...

Interesting! I am sure that old graveyard has a lot of history to it.

That is wonderfully spooky. I love that picture of the grave yard. Oh someday, I will have to come and visit and you will have to take me to that graveyard and to Witchtrot Road. :)

Only you Julie would have a Witchtrot haunted road and that foggy old cemetery sounds even spookier. Now that's real Halloween decor at it's best.

Stay safe,
JB

I've said it before and of course I will say it again...I would LOVE to seep myself in the history of your place!!!

I am also so very glad that you came through the storm fairly well...although storms that big and harsh always leave damage...I'm thankful you are okay!!!
