~FARE THEE WELL~

I snapped this photo at 7:15 this morning...snow fell throughout the night... an additional five inches of heavy wet snow...Mr. Dog Trot was dressed and out the door well before dawn making sure everyone (family) was plowed out...
With February coming to an end...so too are my winter white photographs... March arrives tomorrow and with this month comes the first day of spring..SPRING...my head is filled with ideas...ideas for both inside and out...ideas which include lots of color...and I can honestly say none of which include the color white...

I bet you are tired of white! I am glad that spring will be here and you will have the most gorgeous flowers in the world.
I think to get really pretty flowers you need good cold weather,
I will send you thoughts of warm breezes and blooming trees and lots of dreams of gardens.

The snow yesterday was heavy and wet too that we got. It was pretty on the trees and shrubs though. It would have been even prettier if I could have just watched it from inside instead of having to drive it in..as it was a little tricky driving along the big river. Stay warm, Janice

That is an absolutely gorgeous photo! About 20" more or less of the white stuff here.. which is almost unheard of in these parts. And now, you have me singing Polly Wolly Doodle all the day.. fare thee well, fare thee well.. ;) Here's to some Spring color.. and soon!! -Tammy

I know you are tired of the snow! I'm ready for spring, too. It warmed up into the 70's but this week and next week it's only in the low 50's and 30s at night. I need sunshine and color and warm breezes!

Spring's just around the corner!

I know you are tired of snow... but the picture of your home is gorgeous! Maybe you should use it to make this year's Christmas card... I won't rush the seasons though... I'm waiting for bright yellow daffy's, royal purple crocuses and hot pink hyacynth's... followed by the glorious aroma of roses and beautiful hydrangeas, hollyhocks and foxgloves!!!! O yeah!!! :-) I must have been a bumble bee in my previous life... ;-)

What a beautiful photo. We get no snow usually and I am always a little envious of your beautiful snow. But I know it's like our hot, hot weather....everything can outlast it's welcome. Thanks for letting me enjoy a little of the "white" stuff...:)

Yeah... March is finally here and old man winter will soon loose his grip on us.

Your chickens are probably sick of winter too. I'm anxious to see some of your new ideas coming into fruition.
