~MONDAY MORNING 6:00 AM~

This morning at 6:00 am...I woke to a beautiful violet colored sunrise...
two hours later...the snow began to fall... I have no complaints...I have learned to embrace and enjoy winter...I realize that under all this white is the energy which will eventually burst forth into spring...
For those bloggers who reside in parts of Texas and California garden season has arrived... some  have flowers in bloom...sigh...I've enjoyed reading your blogs- it's given me hope of what is to eventually come to New England...good things are worth waiting for...With Valentine's Day around the corner many of you have shared your lovely collections of reds, stitchery sewing  projects and primitive decorations...I am in awe of your talent and prim perfect homes.. I take away ideas and inspiration from your wonderful blogs...My collection of reds however differ somewhat than yours...yes... I have a traditional red heart hanging on the front door...but mostly my collection of reds consist of...
 Elmo...
hearts and bears on the fridge...
 a little one's cereal bowl...
and a craft that consists of two little feet and finger paint...
my home will never be prim perfect...
but... I don't think this little one will mind... thankfully I have your wonderful blogs to look at and drool over...BTW...if you find yourself with any extra sunshine could you send some my way!!!

really and truly, I would love some snow. I am not ready for spring at all. Last summer here was the hottest on record since they started keeping record, in something like 1873 so I just am not ready to face it yet. I would just love to have snow and cold for a bit longer. Your sunrise is just beautiful. So is all of the wonderful reds that you have around your house. I love the one with the baby sitting with his toys. So precious.

Oh Julie, I wish I had your perky attitude about more snow. I went to the theatre tonight and when I came out 2 hours later my car was covered in white again. I whined :(

Love your reds decorations and the cute little guy playing with his toys. It will be cold here tomorrow in Central IL but supposed to have a little sunshine so will send some your way. I am very anxious for spring and no more snow or freezing temps so we can get this move over with and get on with our lives :)
Hugs

What a beautiful sunrise.
We are having some snow falling still and everything looks so pretty outside. The trees are all white but it's warmer and calm.

Your place looks like there's love in the air with all the red.

It wonderful to see the little one playing with his toys on the floor.

Hope that you have a nice day tomorrow.

That sunrise is amazing! Is there anything more precious than that little grandbaby? We have eight of them and I look forward to a messy house anytime they want to come! You have the best shades of red! Dawn

Travis is really growing isn't he? Homes with grandchildren in them are never perfect I'm afraid:)

Your home IS perfect and that little one get cuter by the day! As for flowers, when you finally get out, just get a pot of tulips (that's what I did) to remember that spring is coming!

The violet sunrise...breathless.
Here in west Michigan we have snow on the ground...likely for at least a few more weeks.
~sigh~
VERY much looking forward to spring.

I know what you mean about prim-perfect homes. I see so many blog pics of well-appointed rooms, neat, tidy. My home isn't that way, I try, but I just don't seem to have the knack or enough motivation or something. And by the way, I think your home is nothing less than picturesque! Maybe it's the grandson.....
