There is a winter snow storm sitting on the horizon... it appears... according to local meteorologists, snow will begin falling by late evening dropping 12-15" inches of snow on our doorstep... and for good measure... snow showers will continue on and off throughout the week....I do hope this is winter's last hurrah...my peas are waiting...
I will remain optimistic...what else can one do?

It has to end, eventually!
Started sleeting at 4:00 then it went to snow, salt truck came thru and ut is still snow. About 2 inches on the ground and we were not suppose to get this much. UGH, COME ON SPRING !
Oh, that groundhog!!! He sure was wrong this year. No snow hear but cold, damp and dreary.
Maybe you and the Sir can cuddle up and do some hooking to keep warm
Hugs :)

Mother Nature seems to be out to get us all. We, too, are to get it this week & things are starting to bloom here in SW Missouri. Hopefully, this is winter's last hurrah!!!! Stay warm! Jan
Stay positive, it can't last forever. :)I can't believe snow all week. That is just crazy.
can only tease you a bit and say grin and bear it. seriously, it won't be long until you & Travis are wheeling under sunny warm skies! hugs, until then my friend!
Evening Julie, not to much one can do...we had our snow last night and today...looking at my old Country Gardening magazines and dreaming of Spring.....Keep Cozy, Francine.
we are expecting only a measly 4"....the baby sister to the storm you are getting!
yes, it will come to an end soon.
spring is right around the bend....
My peas are under the snow that is coming. so are my radishes, lettuce, onions, and potatoes. We have a change of snow 3 days this week, up to 2 inches!
When is the first day of Spring????
I guess Mother Nature is making up for last winter's lack of snow.
I feel like I'm stuck in a snow globe!!! Will it never end!
oh your peas do look so pretty!! Now..if only they could get into the ground.
Snow and "frizzle" is falling here on our wee patch. Just keep stepping forward Julie...pea planting time is drawing ever closer.
Warmly,
Judy
That's a bugger of a way to end March... and the first day of Spring is only hours away... those poor little pea's will have to rest a bit longer... ;-)
Keeping my fingers crossed this is the last big snowfall!

Yep we are getting that same storm here and looking at 12+ before it is all over! I am stuck inside anyway because the transmission went on my old jalopy but I sure do wish Spring would make an appearance and brighten my spirits!
Have a good day guys and stay warm!

HI Julie! We're 7 inches into down here in NH as I type this. So ready for spring to spring this year, it's been one long winter to be sure. I'm awaiting the arrival of my seeds, hopefully this week. Stay warm up there, and we'll all think good spring thoughts. ~Vonnie
