EASTER BLESSINGS~

Spring is certainly taking it's sweet  time coming to Maine. Winter coats have not been put away nor mittens or gloves. Sunday, Easter morning we woke to a brilliant blue sky and the waters of Casco Bay calm ...

it was a perfect morning for a ferry ride down the bay...destination Long Island...Home to my mom and dad aka Nanny and Papa...
I had traveled out to the island the day before...
while the rest of my family came on the 10:00 am ferry Sunday morning...A first boat ride for Travis Lloyd...
who was greeted by the Easter Bunny...

Together we enjoyed a lovely day...
and the Easter Bunny did not disappoint...
even Peter Rabbit found his way to the island...
I do hope your Easter day was as blessed as mine...

the ferry ride looks awesome....but here is a silly question....do you need to take a ferry to get to town? silly, I know...I have never been to Maine and have no idea what the countryside is like.....

Ah, it's so beautiful up there in Maine! We SO loved our visit in October...

Your little grandson is just precious - he has the sweetest smile. Looks like he "banked" on goodies from the Easter Bunny!

Cute pictures...

Travis looks so handsome. It must be so exciting to live on an island off the coast of Maine. How beautiful it must be there.
