~JANUARY 1ST~

HAPPY NEW YEAR...
Once again the new year finds us...January, the month of new beginnings... it is time to take stock of our lives, reflect on the past and strive to meet those new goals we have set for ourselves..."We" move forward not looking back.. putting one foot in front of the other...
January begins with great personal determination..."organize and simplify" are to be key words of which to guide us through this new year...

For me, there is always room for personal growth as well as physical and mental well being...my attempt to "give back" remains intact...
"Ring out the old,
Ring in the new,
Ring happy bells,
Across the snow!
The year is going
Let it go;
Ring out the false,
Ring in the true."
~Alford Lord Tennysom~

Winter's chill has settled here in Maine...trees remain coated in ice...unfortunately, there are some who remain without electricity...a snow storm is in tomorrow's forecast... a foot of light fluffy snow will blanket the cold earth...it is winter in her finest...

I do love how the ice decks out the trees though. I wish you and yours a wonderful Happy New year in 2014
It is always nice to turn the calendar to a new year.
I wish you all of the best and look forward to seeing more at my favorite place DogTrot farm.

Julie, I love your positive attitude and you never wine or complain no matter what.

I hope that some of that attitude rubs off on me in the new year.

Wishing you and yours the best that the New Year has to offer.
Warm hugs from New Brunswick, Canada
