~MONDAY MORNING~

A bit of sunshine...
on a  rainy Monday morning...
We are shrouded in fog, roads are slick, the wind continues to howl... local schools remain closed...surprisingly it is a balmy 49 degrees...snow is melting...there is flooding along the coast with random power outages..tonight the temperature dips back into negative digits...our driveway will become one long sheet of ice...ironically, the temperature in Maine is warmer than parts of Florida and Louisiana...(sorry Auntie Jo)The Farmers' Almanac appears to be spot on when predicting this winter's weather...Stay safe and stay warm everyone...

You too Julie,
I think you are even warmer than us today. Isn't that funny.
I think we are still at 40 degrees. We have wind so it seems cooler.
I need to get out my Almanac. I am always amazed at how right on they are. Have a lovely day.

The weather seems crazy this season in so many parts of the states. Here this morning we started out at 50 degrees. We were up to 75 over the weekend. We're expecting tomorrow morning to be down around 2 degrees at Seven. Ugh! The good part though is that we haven't any snow and won't be expecting any.

the farmer's almanac got it totally wrong for our area. we were supposed to have an above average january. get ready for what is headed your way! this is a doozy!!!

what a horror show this morning trying to get to work. My driveway has a very steep slope so just walking up it in my yak tracks was a feat in its self.
Not loving this prolonged cold but and very thankful for my beast in the basement(woodstove)

Temps are going to 35 minus below with wind chill here in Michigan. How ironic that you have warmer weather than the states that should be. At least I am able to work from home on days like this. Janice ps. wish wish the tulips were really blooming outside..so pretty!

The weather is so crazy. No school for us again tomorrow. Single digit and below zero wind chills. Stay safe!

Someone forgot to tell the weather makers I live in the SOUTH!

Single digits tonight.

I'm ready for spring.

...and then Tuesday brings sunshine, but plunges us back to freezing cold temps with a biting wind! But wait, it's suppose to be warm this weekend!
I do so love New England; it's like that box of chocolates Forrest Gump talked about....

The weather in the US sounds dreadful so I was surprised to read that the temperature isn't too bad where you are - not that fog, flooding and ice sounds that great. Stay safe, at least the days are getting longer now.

I will vouch for the cold temps in Florida...inside my house was 58 degrees yesterday morning! We bundle up because we dislike running the heat...so drying!
My first tulips of the year are pink...your's are gorgeous!
Keep warm,
Robyn
