LOOKING ON THE BRIGHT SIDE~

Tonight... I am not going to comment on the snow that is swirling over the fields or the cold bone chilling temperatures...or the fact that Tuesday evening I was in need of a visit to the local quick care where I was diagnosed with an ear and sinus infection or the fact that on Wednesday afternoon Mr. Dog Trot was feeling poorly... made an appointment with his physician and  was diagnosed with bronchitis...no... I am not going to bore you with all that ... Nor am I going to let winter get the best of me...the best of us ...I am just going to leave you with a photo and these most appropriate  words...
If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant; if we did not sometimes taste adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome...AMEN~Anne Bradstreet~

It's been a long, hard winter for most of us. We're having a couple of nice days & then the weatherman said a chance of snow on Sunday....it's like mother nature is taunting us!!!! Hope you're both feeling better & that the beautiful warm sun comes out & melts all that white stuff very, very soon. Jan

I am sending you warm cyber-hugs and gentle wellness wishes from just a little ways south of you (I think?). And I don't think I've said it before, but I am soooooo flattered to be one of the blogs featured in your sidebar. I think you are the only one doing that, and it makes me feel like a real blogger. Ignore the cold weather, we're supposed to get a warm-up this weekend.

Thanks for checking in on me over on my blog, Julie! I appreciate it! Winter's been so daggone long this year here in New England, and I know just what you mean. What's the sense in complaining about it? Doesn't do a lick of good, but it does help me to know everyone else is feeling it, too. We'll all get through it together. Take good care of you and Mr. Dog Trot, we'll be feeling spring breezes off the water soon, I hope. ~Vonnie

Good Morning Julie! Hope you and Mr. Dog Trot get to feeling better pronto. Winter just does not want to pack its bags and go away. We have a sunny 70 degree day today and 2-4 inches of sleet and snow headed our way for Sunday!

The wind will blow and the snow will fall but one should be grateful that's all that we must endure.
My daughter who lives thousands of miles away had an accident at work this past Saturday which resulted in a broken back.Rods and screws to repair the break and many months of physio leads me to believe I've little to complain about. Even though the snow storm made my return air trip home delayed by a day I'm so thankful she can still walk...
Hopefully Hubby is on the mend from his bronchitis.
Spring is only a heartbeat away!
Susan
