This is the blog of an Island girl who married a country boy. A girl who's always longed for a farm and a menagerie of animals. Watch and read as the dream begins to unfold.
a glance out my kitchen window warmed my soul...As we prepare for yet another blizzard here in New England...I know spring will arrive...later rather than sooner, but it will arrive..
Who said that robins fly south for the Winter? We have a few here too. I bet he's after those tempting berries on that bush. The cold has been relentless hasn't it! Stay warm and think warm thoughts! And oh yes Happy Valentine's Day... Susan x
A robin!!!!! That's a good sign! You made my day and hoping this will be the last week of all this frigid weather and start to go uphill. Here right now it is snowing so hard you can't see a foot in front of you. ~Stay warm! Hugs Earlene
What a wonderful picture. I hope you are not getting as much snow as predicted. It is snowing here, too, but nothing like Maine. I hope you've avoided Travis' cold. Warm hugs :) Lauren
I'm out on the frozen prairie with my so 's family, and we had another large snowfall last night. It is COLD! I hope you stay cosy by your fire through the storm.
Julie is that your photo out your window? Oh my gosh, you have to do a book of your photographs. This is just the prettiest thing I have ever seen, it speaks to me of hope. Spring will arrive. The light is so lovely. Thank you so much for sharing it. Stay hunkered down with this next storm. I hope it isn't as bad as the weathermen are saying.
