~SPRING THOUGHTS~

"Every gardener knows that under the cloak of winter lies a miracle...a seed waiting to sprout, a bulb opening to the light, a bud straining to unfurl. And the anticipation nurtures our dream."
~Barbara Winkler~
Here in New England we remain buried under a sea of white... spring is but a tease and remains firmly out of our grasp...but we dream...we dream of those warm dewy days and starry nights... where the peeper's song serenades us... blooms open...the air fragrant...a lingering scent...

until then...I hook tulips...

it was 50 here today. the rivers that were frozen a few days ago are melted. most of our snow is gone. birds are busy and chirping. it amazes me how fast the weather changes.

I love your tulips Julie! I think it will be lovely when your spring does arrive. We will I imagine be in full blown summer as it is again almost a no winter year.
I would gladly trade.
I always enjoy your updates. I am waiting for my daughter to arrive, and to spend this week with all of my grandchildren and celebrate birthdays. I always think of you.

Hopefully your snow will go away soon. I have tulips, daffodils and crocus coming thru the ground all over my yard. That and the time change gives hope of an early spring. I love your hooked tulips!

Beautiful tulips!
I ordered the garden seeds last week and my head has been full of spring dreams since. I can't seem to convince myself this snow will actually melt!

I like the tulips. Snow on the ground here as well, but we are starting to see the driveway a bit.
