This is heart breaking to hear him talk like that but I love that he wants John Deere green wings. Such a sweetheart.
May Darlene rest in peace in God's love.
Big hugs to you Julie and your family at this sad time in your life.

He is too young to have to experience that in his little life. I know he has given you all such comfort. I have continued to pray for you. I wish you peace and comfort.
Thank you so much for updating Julie,

ji julie! happy september to you too. though around here it feels like july in miami! what a hot summer we have had. here is a recipe i have been dying to try and it sure uses those peppers up:
banana pepper mustard

Ingredients:

40 banana peppers stems removed

4 cups prepared yellow mustard

5 cups white sugar

1 cup honey

4 cups apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon salt

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

1 1/2 cup water
Directions:

Using gloves, remove the seeds from the banana peppers and place in a food processor. Process until smooth.

Pour into a large pot and stir in the mustard, sugar, honey, vinegar and salt. On high, allow to boil and cook down 3-5 minutes.

Stir together the flour and water until smooth. Whisk into the boiling mixture until smooth. Continue to boil, Stirring constantly another 5 minutes. Pour into sterile jars and seal with new lids and rings. Process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes.
