DAYS OF SPRING

A quick weekend trip to the island to finish up a survey job. Soon it will be time to slap a coat of paint on these chairs, plump up the cushions, and enjoy this view. Oh, and don't forget the lemonade!
Daffodils are finally making an appearance. Oh happy day, we here in New England have waited so very long for the magic of spring to begin.
The Magnolia tree is covered in buds and a few have started to blossom.
When I returned home I found DH working diligently on the chicken coop, as we say in Maine he's a keepa!
Winslow Homer where are you, get back here! Till next time.

So glad that spring has finally sprung for you! That's a long wait!
You must be getting VERY excited for the forthcoming patter of little chicky feet! (-:

Magnolia? Here in the northeast? Wow,.... i didn't think we could keep them here. Now i have to get one. And kudos to DH for a fast moving job on the coop. I'm looking forward to seeing it with a "family"...

Cedar, the best thing about the Magnolia other than it's beauty, is the deer population ignore it.
Jenny, I have a regular nursery going inregards to those peeps, I suspect I will be checking on them in the middle of the night just like I did with my boys! May 7th is getting closer!

This is the first time I've visited your blog. I love the roof line on the house. It makes sense, it looks just like a ship keel upside down. Beautiful.
