EMMA LOUThere is a quietness to the house without Pinky Larue.
Her collar bell has been silenced. I spoke with the shelter yesterday and they reassured me Pinky was settling in and seemed to remember some of the shelter's attendants. Emma wears a look of relief and her sense of calm and safety is begining to return. I know I made the right decision.

You know your heart Julie.
You know Emma's heart too.
Peace in both hearts, knowing you made the right decision. Sigh :)
I know you did too Julie.
Emma Lou looks an adorable cat Julie. Glad both you and she have found some peace. I hope you get this comment as the last couple of ones I've left haven't come up for some reason!
i know that was so hard. i had to do the same with choo choo 2...he attacked princess and scratched her eye causing an expensive trip to a specialty vet 3 hours away...in his new home he gets to go outside and loves climbing trees, etc. i hope pinky finds a perfect home. she is so pretty.
Emma looks very happy and relaxed she is too old to have all that stress in her life. You made the right decision.
I'm glad you're all settling into your new~found peace. I'm sure Pinky Larue is doing just fine and I'm glad to see that Emma Lou is too.
Great pictures of your girls in the previous post. Loved it!
Hugs~ Birgit
