Wow. Just wow.
This is your first winter as a chicken momma. Are you stressing? I know I sure did last year with our 3 1/2 feet of snow.
What are your temps like? Last night, it got down to 9 degrees here and my birds are doing just fine. We've got hardy breeds, you and I. :-)

Julie we had your fun four just in the 2 hours I went to book club yesterday! Your picture was us this morning. A very cool picture of Dog Trot Farm! I love to hunker down inside the house on these kind of weather days :)

Greetings from Texas, where we got nothing - it went south and north of us. Wow - it sure has arrived up there. I've been following this storm. But your home is lovely anyway with all that snow! Bundle up!

Stay warm and safe! I love winter and love reading the stories of your farm. We have wind and sunshine here in northern Virginia. They are predicting some snow showers for Sunday though. Hope we get more snow! What little we had last weekend is now completely gone.

Just realized that you live right around the corner from my mom and I drive by your beautiful home on my way to work each morning! What a small world! I so enjoy reading your posts - many thanks for sharing!

Thank you Spring Lake Farm for the nice comment in regards to my home. I have your blog on my list to visit. Cedar, please keep the snow in your neck of the woods! RR I am so very thankful that I am able to stay home and do not need to venture out in this kind of weather. Well, I do need to make it as far as the Hen House! Danni, I get stressed out over the "girls" becoming stressed out! Temperatures dipping into the teens tonight. Vickie, I have to admit that I enjoy having snow for the month of December. Christmas for me does not have the same feel without it! Eve, you had better not have snow when I visit!!!!!!Genny I hope you get your snow for Christmas! Blessings to all!!
