A QUIET SUNDAY

A day for a bit of decorating.... dead heading....
dusting....
crows have flown in....

amber glow in the window....
one of thousands and thousands of leaves to drop....
squirrels....

have taken up residence....
pumpkin moonshine....

a peak of color....
it is starting to look like Fall here at Dog Trot Farm....

just as Hooty....

Oh, Julie, you are so talented. Gosh, I don't even decorate for Christmas! I am not gifted in the decorating business. But one thing I do hope is that as I get better at some crafting that I will have some wallhangings, etc, to put around the cabin. Thanks for sharing your talent with all of us. It will be a while before we get much tree color here below the Mason-Dixon line. It's still Indian Summer here. Take care, from central KY.

Ali, not much else grew here at Dog Trot Farm, but I guarded those Cinderella pumpkins with my life! Thank you ladies for the kind comments.

Makes we want to come for a visit! A beautiful celebration of fall and perhaps a twist of the arm to get my fall decorating in gear. : )

What a beautiful autumnal post, I love the crows and those salt glazed jars. Your pumpkins are great too, such a lovely vibrant colour.

I just love your crows and squirrels. And the pumpkins look almost to perfect to be real. It was a good weekend to cozy up in the house. The heatwave is over!

Noooooooo.....according to my calendar, I still have 7 full days of summer left before I have to start lamenting the onset of fall, the rain, the mud, the gloomy, dreary Oregon skies for weeks on end...
How different my world is from yours right now. :-)

I have also finished my fall decorating and soon will be unpacking Halloween boxes, It'll be fun to see what I have stached away in them.

Good Morning Julie! So that little owlie has a name. Hooty. Sweet.

I love to see Dog Trot Farm in the Fall. Almost as much as I love seeing your table set for the holidays. No I don't want to rush time along.
