A DAY IN THE LIFE....

This morning I had a follow up appointment with my neurologist...it is a love hate relationship...he believes my migraines are triggered by hormones and menopause...I just want a medication that will offer relief...enduring a migraine for a month at a time is not easy...I finally was given a round of steroids... which fortunately for me broke the migraine...After my appointment...I headed out for my morning walk...I have been walking two to four miles four times a week and tomorrow am incorporating biking into my routine. This morning the sun was shining... and there was a lovely southerly breeze...

keeping the black flies at bay...

the tide was high and the air pungent with salt... mingled with the scent of wild flowers...

a perfect location for a morning walk...

and when the scenery is as beautiful as this... it's easy to walk off one's frustration...

temporarily anyway!

What a beautiful bike path! I so need to start exercising! Walking and biking seem perfect. I hope you can get relief from the migraines...peri-menopause is bad enough without searing head pain!
Hugs,
Courtney

So your Migraines are still bad? I am so sorry, mine will hit with a vengeance but not for a month.
I am glad you have such an incredible place to walk and ride. Wow, I would think everyday would be incredible.
I hope the steroids help and give you a break.
Praying for you my friend.

I just love those green trees along the beautiful path and the water looks so peaceful.

I hope that you are feeling better now.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. Yes I'm planning to kep the kitties. I have 4 adult cats but they don't last long at the farm. We have foxes and eagles and even some cayotes have been seen and cats have been diseapiring last year. Even the neighbours have lost cats.

The farm needs them to catch mice and keep the rats at bay.

Take care, hugs. JB

What a beautiful walk, makes me want to get on the next plane to Boston! I used to have a migraine every month and with menopause they disappeared. They are awful though, I used to take a tablet called Migraleve which worked most of the time if I caught it early enough.

Hi, I came over to visit after seeing you on My Farmhouse Kitchen. I am in love with your house, are you kidding me, you get to live there!!! And that scenery on your walk?!?! You are so blessed, now if we can just get rid of those migraines, right?

I have finally found the ladies I love - you, Farmhouse Kitchen, Cozy Little House - who share the heart I have. I am putting y'all on my blog roll so I can read each time you post. Thanks for sharing, and I "followed" your blog.
