I anxiously await the feeling that fall gives too. There's much to do before then and little time. It will arrive soon! Deb
Love your hooked punkins! Just too sweet! They say cooler weather on the way here next week..in the 70's.
Yay! I'll believe it when I feel it! LOL!
Hang in there!

I love it! That is so darling a pumpkin. Such a face and it is so hot here Too!Cheri
It's funny you posted this tonight. Today I was in Deanne Fitzpaticks Studio and bought a snowman pattern. We are still waiting for summer weather in NS. We haven't had your heat here.
Fall is my favorite season, but I also have to go back to work every September after having the summer off. So it is bittersweet for me. I love sleeping in every morning and just relaxing for a few months.
Do I dare say it? You are such a good hooker.:) I love your pumpkin guys. They are just great. I am ready for cooler weather but mine doesn't get here until Thanksgiving. :)I will enjoy yours.
Oh my goodness...I love these pumpkins! I've got to draw a pumpkin rug. What are you going to do with these? They are so funny. I love fall too...especially when school has actually started, I'm in a rhythm, and can relax and enjoy the season!
I'm looking forward to Macoun apples!

I'm almost ready, too!!!
Cute faces on those JOL's! I'm ready for fall too... I just wish it would last for 6 months and then we hop into spring! lol! ;-)
So cute. I can't wait for fall! I love jeans and sweatshirt weather :)
Nooooooooo - no fall yet! We have had exactly 9 days of summer and I'm not ready to give it up until I've had my full portion!
Blasphemy! How could you after the winter we had! We need more summer!! LOL!!!
BTW, those pumpkins are really cute!
I hate to admit it, but yes I'm ready to be able to enjoy being outside again. Why can't fall be the longest season?
Those boys are cute!
while I love the crisp air, I do not no like the shorter days. I do not like the oil bill or the snow and cold that follows. so I will take the mugggy days even though the days are getting shorter.

My husband is ready...me not so much. I'm a summer person can work outside in the middle of the day in 97* weather...come winter I freeze.

I am ready for fall as well! In southern Florida our fall doesn't really start until after Halloween...seems so far off.
Do you happen to have a tutorial for how you did those pumpkins? They are awesome and I know my kids would just LOVE them.

Love, love, love your hooked pumpkins! Great color!
I'm happy to go back to your blog, reading your news and find the adorable pumpkins that anticipate the autumn :)
Happy late summer!

*sigh... I think i'm a little misty in the eyes now; i thought i was the only one longing for fall in August. Counting the moments until apple picking time... :))))
Enough hot, 80+, weather. I'm ready for the 70's for a stretch. Anyone vote for an open winter with temps -0 to get rid of the fleas?
OK, I do want some ripe tomatoes.
I am not ready!!! I will take hot and humid any day. I do like fall but absolutely hate what comes after it and last year winter lasted way too long!
Your pumpkins are very cute, though :)
Pug hugs :)

Yyyeeeessss!!! So ready for AUTUMN...but, well, I always am :^). My very favorite time of the year, just love it so much. I don't know if I could ever leave New England living by choice, mostly because of autumn's wonderfulness. ~Vonnie
Julie this has been the worst summer I have experienced here in Kansas. We just had our 43rd day of 100+ temperatures. Coming from the beautiful cool mountains of British Columbia I was used to summer temperatures being around 75 and cooling sometimes into the 50's at night so this extreme heat has been very hard to deal with. Our new flower gardens and the veggie gardens have done terrible. I planted 75 strawberry plants and I bet 3/4's of the plants are dead and the rest is struggling. We tilled under the corn and the green beans and the squash got bugs so they were a total loss. The tomato plants are HUGE but have hardly any tomatoes on them. The herb garden is doing ok and that's about it. Yes...I'm looking forward to fall and cooler temperatures and I hope it's a LONG LONG fall. Love your handiwork! Have a wonderful day.
Maura :)
Oh, I am so ready! If only we could hold winter off, though! I would love 6 months of autumn!!
