TILL NEXT TIME~

I cannot  prolong it any longer... the time has come to say goodbye to my old friends...friends that I cherish...
yes..it is time to stow away those much loved Christmas bobbles and bangles...
some crafted by loving hands...others received as treasured gifts...
Byers Carolers are carefully wrapped and lovingly placed in their designated tote...hidden away for another year...
bits of fir now to be replaced with potted herbs and miniature ferns...

a new friend arrived...a surprise...a gift from a dear aunt...Webber Bear is a Boyd's Bear... who has traveled all the way from Alabama...it makes it a bit easier to put away old friends when you have a new friend to welcome into the home...especially one given by a loved one...a gift for Travis...but one that will remain at Granny's for the time being...Travis and I will enjoy Webber together...
on this damp winter day...where the fog comes on little cat feet...Sadie Mae...makes sure she has the best seat in the house...one that is as close to the wood stove as possible...

My Christmas decorations have been all put into marked totes for next year too. All I need to do is to take them to the basement until next year. I don't feel so bad now that I'm the only one dragging her feet on putting Christmas away.

Sadie Mae and Webber Bear looks cosy for the night.

Have a great week.
Hugs,
JB

just imagine by the time you pull out all your favorites again, Travis will be trying to rearrange everything to suit himself, every time he gets within range of each one. over and over again!

All my Christmas goods have finally made it to the attic, but the house has yet to be put back to "normal".
What a sweet little bear for a sweet little boy.
Hugs :)

Discovered your blog while catching up with someone I follow regularly. Nice pages, these. I follow along for a while. By the way, who is Mary Bly? I was born into a family of Blys, from western New York State. I may not see your reply, if you can take a moment for it, unless you send it to scrout1944@msn.com

Love your Kitty..I don't want to look at anything in my house right now that reminds me of winter and am doing some packing for the move May 1st. Some people think I am starting to soon but I don't like to wait until a week or 2 before moving day..What if my back hurts and I am forced to pack anyhow. Just taking it one day at a time and looking forward to spring
Have a great week
Hugs

Lovely post! I am in love with Sadie Mae. She looks like she's keeping a secret. She reminds me of my long-ago lost kitten Camille, who was a gray tabby with blue eyes and a pink nose... I miss having a cat.
Today is the day I will pack away Christmas. I usually wait until after Epiphany, but I am way behind this year. My excuse is a Very Bad Cold that really knocked me down, and then my son needed surgery! But, really, enough with the excuses!
