This is the blog of an Island girl who married a country boy. A girl who's always longed for a farm and a menagerie of animals. Watch and read as the dream begins to unfold.
Oh no! This has been a terrible winter. Not only the weather but the flu bug seems to be persistent. Make a hot toddy and cuddle up until spring really arrives
I am with you this winter will never end. I got out in the sun yesterday to let it shine on my face I do think it makes you feel better even if it is cold Cathy
Morning Julie, so sorry to hear your sick again, not good my friend. I have been thinking of you and missing your posts, sending get well wishes, Hugs Francine/.
Don't give up yet, light I am sure is just around the corner since today is April. Did you know that Gladys Tabor's birthday is April 12th? That is the day of my 34th anniversary. I was so excited to read that. I do hope you get well very fast. You could come here and sit in the sun. :)
It seems that every day brings news of another storm in the east. I'm sending Big SYMPATHY your way, Julie, and hoping that spring will soon find your corner and blast you with sunshine and daffodils. Today is my first foray into Blogdom in a month - sick here too. What a winter!
Oh, I'm sorry to hear you've been ill. Surely, some warm weather, sunshine and fresh air will bring you around. In the meantime, take good care of yourself, get the rest you need, and chicken soup can't hurt.
I know this is a couple days since your post but just wanted you to know that I live in Northern Indiana where we've had huge snows and arctic temps all winter long. I know Maine is always more extreme, but it is finally showing mild signs of spring here, so hang in there, it's on the way!
and so it is...we had a nasty stomach bug go through our whole house...took a good two weeks for each of us to start feeling better. I dare hope you're not experiencing that evil thing up there. Sending healing thoughts and prayers your way, Julie. Springs been peeking at us the last two days, I hope you're getting some relief, too. ~Vonnie
