~HOW QUIET IT IS~

Hello...girls...I'm coming...soon...very soon...I promise...
The temperature is at zero...snow is falling...again...the house is quiet...much to quiet...Travis is spending the day with his "Mimi"...I am spending the day in bed...not by choice mind you...the virus I caught two weeks ago (yes, I had a flu shot) has now manifested itself into pneumonia...cough...cough...my main goal for the day is to bring the girls their warm oatmeal and blueberries...it is tough being a hen in winter...stuck in a coop with a bunch of catty females...almost as difficult as it is for me to be stuck in bed....Okay...I made it...a few hours late but I'm sure the girls won't hold it against me...tomorrow is another day...one that is without snow in the forecast...I hope~

Oh Julie, I'm so sorry that you're sick in bed with pneumonia, yet you still are preparing a warm meal for your precious hens. I sure hope that it will be warmer soon. Hurry up and get better but my goodness, tale care of yourself. Pneumonia is serious.
Hugs.

I hope you get better soon Julie, my oldest son gets pneumonia every time now when he gets a cold. It is so hard to shake.
It is so cold. It is true, hens do get so catty when they are " cooped" up. :)
I will be thinking of you today.

Sorry you are sick in bed. I know the girls appreciated their treats and your effort to get it to them.
We have had little snow so far this winter. Just a few flurries here and there with maybe an inch a couple of times. Stay warm and safe. Hopefully the snow will let up soon!

I hope you're feeling better soon. This weather is bad enough without being sick.

Julie goodness! How did you get pneumonia? Duh... stupid question. All that bitter cold weather, snow and chores that can't be put off! Take care of yourself! We got flu shots too but the great nephew and all the sickies he brings home from daycare is frightening!

Get better soon. It seems the flu shot is not very effective this year. I think it is the luck of the draw anyway on what you get.
My hands are cracked a bleeding from the hand sanitizer and washing I do. I always hope it is enough.

hope you get better soon !!! be careful with the pneumonia....can you get a pneumonia shot when your better?? If so, do it...my mom had an old saying, not exactly sure how it went, but something like, once you get pneumonia you get it 7 times over...be careful!
