~MOTHER'S DAY~

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY
Dear blogging friends,
from the bottom of my heart I thank you for all the kind and thoughtful comments  received regarding Winslow Homer's death... My heart is beginning to mend...as is Mr. Dog Trot's...We shared a good laugh/cry reminiscing over Winslow's antics...Winslow Homer was such a naughty little dog...always in trouble...whether it be dragging a woodchuck out of it's burrow, returning from an unbeknown to me adventure... a deer leg bone dropped before me... twice his size... Skunked or "Quilled" we just never knew what he was up to. ...Winslow Homer proudly lived up to the independent...hole digging...barking... Cairn Terrier reputation...but we loved him regardless...It is quiet around the old homestead...but dare I say not for long...Tomorrow I shall share...
Lastly, I would like to wish each of you a Happy Mother's Day... may your day be sunny and bright... filled with the love of family and those you hold dear...Blessings...Julie...

Thank you Julie,
I am so glad you have Travis.
Something about the love of children that just makes hard things not as hard.
Winslow Homer was a wonderful dog. I am so glad you are doing okay.
I hope today is filled with blessings as well. Happy Mother's Day to you my friend.

Happy Mother's Day Julie. I hope that your day was filled with good memories and love from your family and friends.
Winslow sure will be missed even though we never seen him in person, he left his paw prints in our heart.
Hugs,

Happy Mother's Day to you.
I'm sure WH is dearly missed. My little Ellen is a "bad" dog, too, but in different ways.
Can't wait until tomorrow's post!!!
Hugs :)

Happy Mothers Day to you too! My Cocker Spaniel Bandit would bring rabbit legs or doves..even a turtle. He was such a stinker. He was 10 when he passed, but oh the memories. Janice

Happy Mothers' Day Julie. There is nothing like a Cairn, and we can't be without ours. When we lost wee Rosie we thought we'd never love another dog as much, but within weeks Rory, another Cairn, came into our lives. I hope you are hinting that there's another Cairn for you!
