WINSLOW HOMER (2000-2015)
I know you must miss me,
by the tears rolling down your face.
But believe me when I tell you that,
I'm in a very good place.
There are meadows here to run in,
and plenty of rabbits to chase.
There are other dogs to play with,
to frolic with and race.
So please don't worry about me,
my spirit feels light as can be.
There's no more pain to plaque me,
I'm young again and free.
And I'll be watching over you still,
of that you can be sure.
I'm your canine guardian angel,
and my love for you remains pure.

Oh Julie I am so sorry. I am sitting here crying. Such a wonderful dog. I have enjoyed his antics and have prayed so much for him. When I got to the end, and read that last part, it just breaks my heart. My thoughts are with you.
oh my...isn't this just the worst? i can't tell you how very sad i am. so so sad.i am crying.
Oh Julie, I'm so very sorry. I understand the pain you are feeling. Millie's loss is still fresh in my heart. Dear sweet Winslow Homer will be missed by many but he was lucky to have been loved by you.

So sorry for the loss of your precious companion. Each time one of my dear ones passed I swore I wouldn't put myself thru that heartache again. But the unconditional love they give was worth eventually getting another furry love. Each could never be replaced as their personalities were different. Remember the wonderful times.
