The beauty of Maine is undeniable....its rugged coast colored in shades of grey, green and blue. In winter there is a certain starkness to her beauty. On this cold February morning, a strong westerly breeze blows....seagulls tip their wings to the wind....
and sunlight dances on the Atlantic ocean....
" Old Glory" flaps against a sky of blue....
Majestic Portland Head Light graces the coastline of Cape Elizabeth Maine....
A stately sight to behold....we follow the gulls south....
along the coast....
to Cape Neddick where Nubble light is found....
" Steadfast, Serene, immovable, the same,
Year after year, through all the silent night
burns an forevermore, the quenchless flame,
Shines on that inextinguishable light."
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow~
