LOOKING FOR SPRING~

Once again we here in Southern Maine are preparing for yet another snowstorm...the flakes  fall as I type...
Winter's routine has become mundane...yet, the weeks continue to fly by... My attention has been focused on household organization... and with paint brush in hand... spiffing up the old homestead. But...soon... ever so quietly... those  warm spring days will soon sneak in right under our noses... I shall rejoice...but for now I patiently watch for those subtle signs of spring...

Well put! We have 10 or so inches on the ground and another (possible) 10 inches headed our way on Monday. Oh joy! Not!! :) It's beautiful, but yes.. oh so ready for spring. Love your kitty photo ♥ She looks a lot like my Hazel girl. Stay warm, keep doing what you're doing.. sounds like what I *should* be doing ;) -Tammy

Springtime is just beyond the horizon surely...the knob of an emerald sprout reaching up through warm earch, the cheerful sound of birdsong, and the gentle flutter of winged lovelies in the garden.
As you await the gentle beauty of Springtime, I wish you much joy!
Ever warmly,
Judy

Oh me too, me too.... I've been hooking, quilting and cross stitching to keep the days busy..... selling, tossing, donating, organizing my stuff too... once i can crack open a window a bit for some air, i just might pick up a paint brush... stay safe in the storm...

The snow was pretty this morning on my walk. It is peaceful and still but like you I will be ready to embrace those spring days when they arrive.

It will be here soon. I am now doing both the outside and the inside. While I am inside the outside is calling. I need so much more organizing done. I did buy some beet and eggplant and tomato seeds to start indoors. Just that was so nice. I got 10 eggs yesterday so I know spring is on it's way.
Stay warm!

I'm with you...waiting for spring, although there are a few signs of its nearing arrival here in CA, like my first daffodil a few days ago. The rain knocked it over and got it all muddy, so I brought it inside to enjoy.

I think you will be getting a lot more snow than us. Northern NH and Maine will be getting the brunt of it. Lets hope for a quick melt.
