~SUNDAY STILLS~

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...In the wee hours of Saturday morning the snow softly fell...just a dusting... but enough to cover the landscape...

Sunday...the temperature has dropped...winter is now  close at hand...
The old homestead is donned in her holiday finest...
Byers  Carolers...a Santa painting by artist Lori Brechlin of Notforgotton Farm...a wooden shoe brought home years ago from Denmark...

a  tinsel tree...
Shadows of the day arrive early...December is quickly passing...I stay away from the mall...I keep the true meaning of Christmas in my heart and thank God for Amazon...Good afternoon from Dog Trot Farm...

We're getting a bit more than a dusting, here. Inevitable, I know. Lovin' all your Christmas decor...and Travis Lloyd, of course. xo

Your place looks very festive and Jack is so darn cute.

I wish that Christmas was less commercialized. I dislike the advertising frenzy this time of year. Stressful to say the least to find appropriate useful gifts as everyone has so much. I just want family and no gift but it's not going to happen even though I wait till the very last possible moment to shop. Shame on me even though I've cut down tremendously in the last couple of years. I give all year...

haha I felt the same way after being out in the stores, never the mall though. I sat down one morning early and I was done. All of your Christmas goodies look so pretty. I love your dusting of snow. Always a joy to stop in at Dogtrot. I hope you have a lovely week.

I love the inside and the outside of your home. So pretty and cozy. The baby is adorable all bundled up. I stay away from the malls too. I order a lot online as well. I don't like all the hustle and bustle either. Happy Holidays.
